The Pretty Picture

As much as we all hate to admit, we are definitely influenced, sometimes unknowingly, by the fairy tale world that society makes us believe exists.

Like the movies and daily soaps show- a sky full of stars, a beach with no people and living your wild side with an impromptu road trip- a pretty picture, sure, but there is a reason why it’s so pretty.

It is a lie, somewhere we wish it was true, wish it will happen some day, that is why the the idea seems so appealing to the mind and senses, despite knowing the reality. The harsh, pricking reality is that this utopia is hard to come into existence.

But not everything is sad with this pretty picture, it gives us hope and and helps us get through our mind- numbingly, routinal lives by fueling us to work harder so that the unrealistic and far-fetched pretty picture seems more within grasp as an enticing possibility.

A four-leaved clover may be tough, not impossible, to find, but when you do find it, you know the happiness was worth the hunt.

Tell me in the comments what your four leaved clover is 🙂

My pretty picture is to travel without working for cash flow. I know that is impossible unless I create something great like Bill Gates or Mark Zuckerberg.
